Tips for Storing Breast Milk

Use a container with a lid to store breast milk. The milk must be consumed within 48 hours if you do not freeze it.

Heat frozen or refrigerated milk in a water bath to feed the baby.

If the baby can't drink it all, don't refrigerate it for storage, discard the rest and sterilize the container.
